About Cheryl

Cheryl is a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), the American Society of Designers (ASD), National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), and the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce where her business was named a Top Ten Small Business of the Year for 2016.  Within the Chamber of Commerce she serves on the Advisory Board for the Honorary Commanders and is a member of the Leadership Cobb Class of '15.   She is also a member of the Window Fashions Certified Professionals (WFCP) where she serves on the Advisory Board. The International Furniture & Design Association (IFDA) rounds out her involvement. The WCAA (Window Coverings Association of America) adds more dimension to her involvementsLocally she is a member of  the West Cobb Business Association.

Her specialties include paint color specifying, creating couture window treatments, and rearrangement of current furnishings. She travels extensively in the states and abroad to maintain creativity and have the edge on current trends.

Cheryl Draa was selected by the K&BB Magazine as a Judge for 2014 Innovative Product of the Year and as a Designer for the Fall 2010 Atlanta Home Show, featured at the Cobb Galleria, and has won the "Rising Star of the Year" award from Window Fashions Certified Professionals (WFCP™). She is an Advisory Board Member for Sherwin Williams Paints, and also serves on the Foundation Board for the Cobb Safety  Village.   Watch her continue to pursue new venues during her personal transitions.

She lives in Metro Atlanta, Georgia and enjoys access to the big city and the calm of being "outside the perimeter." She belongs to a local book club, has two grown children and  a dog who thinks she is human, and a unique hobby of taking pictures of herself with famous people. Cheryl also is a member of the 11Alive Stormtrackers, and fixes Google maps as she sees the need. People in all transitions continues to be her calling.
